Spring 2004. While working deep inside a forensic psych ward, some inmates charts carried two brutal warnings: DTO PRECAUTIONS and DANGEROUS TO OTHERS. Labels meant to signal a history of violent and/or unpredictable behavior.
I took that raw energy and merged it with everything that defined my world—streetwear, adrenaline fueled action sports, and a heavy influence of Southern Californias West Coast Culture. That collision sparked the brand’s identity: bold, fearless, and impossible to ignore.
The brand was heavily influenced by interests, life experiences, hobbies, interests, and personal lifestyle.
While in a small bedroom in the San Gabriel Valley, powered by nothing but drive, I hand drew the first logo inspired by experience and the love graffiti art, and rebellious L.A. culture. No investors. No roadmap. Just $360, five dozen tees, and a vision made for the ones who live life on their own terms, take risks, ride hard, and chase adrenaline.
